About Indie Author Forge

Indie Author Forge is a practical guide site for independently published authors, built by someone actively running book launches and promo campaigns right now — not theorizing from the sidelines.

The site started from a simple frustration: most self-publishing advice online is either years out of date, written by people who've never actually run a KDP promo, or padded out to hit a word count. Every guide here is written from direct, current experience with the tools and platforms covered — KDP Select, Amazon Associates, and the promo site ecosystem (Freebooksy, BookDoggy, BargainBooksy, and others).

New guides are added regularly as new promo cycles, tools, and platform changes come up. Have a question, a correction, or a topic you'd like covered? Get in touch on the contact page — every message goes straight to a real inbox and gets read.
